Environmental sensitivities

We are able to test for an extensive range of possible substances causing sensitivities. An allergy describes a powerful immune response to an ‘allergen’. The allergen itself is usually harmless , however, it is the bodys immune response that can cause damage. Examples of common allergens are foods, animal danders, detergents, dust, mites, pollen, soap products and perfumes. We do not diagnose allergies, we look at sensitivity, this often manifests as a milder reaction in the body such as bloating or digestive discomfort with a food sensitivity or sneezing, congestion and a runny nose as in Hayfever.

60 to 70% of what we put onto our skin will be absorbed into the body, if the substance is toxic, this could have negative effects. We are able to screen for substances that may be causing issues within the body and discuss natural detox methods.
