Digestive problems

The digestive system has many components including the stomach, small intestine, large intestine and the rectum. It’s accessory organs such as the salivary glands, pancreas, liver and gall bladder all support the functions of the digestive system. A healthy digestive system should be able to digest foods, absorb nutrients and efficiently excrete waste from the body. 70% of the immune system resides in the gastrointestinal tract and therefore it is essential to maintain a healthy digestive system to support and enhance immunity. When there are issues of the digestive system there is potential to experience many symptoms, these may manifest as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, constipation, bloating or acid reflux to name a few.
